Jane Hilderman is the Executive Director of Samara Canada, a nonpartisan charity that strengthens Canada’s democracy by making it more accessible, inclusive and responsive for Canadians. As Executive Director, she is found frequently discussing Samara’s work in the media and across the country. Her previous roles at Samara include Research Director.
Jane joined Samara after working on Parliament Hill. She holds degrees from the School of Public Policy & Governance at the University of Toronto (MPP) and Queen’s University (BAH). As a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, Jane also strives “to make Canada better known to Canadians and the world.” She is a proud board member of the national Mothers Matter Centre.
Originally from Camrose, Alberta, where she grew up on a family farm, Jane now makes Toronto her home.
